The cakestand was absolutely amazing! Amber reached back out to me as soon as I submitted my inquiry and was open to any and every part of my daughters vision for her birthday cake ! I simply gave her the jist of what my daughter was looking for, colors and style and she created the most beautiful and delicious cake. I will 10000% be using her for all my future cakes! I literally Googled cupcakes in Hartford County and The Cake Stand came up! I try to support small businesses so I sent my inquiry via the website. Amber responded promptly.. a huge bonus! I placed my order on 12.12.2022 for an event on 12.18.2022 + she was able to fulfill it! She was very pleasant via email (and in person during the pick up) + extremely accommodating. I placed an order for a dozen cupcakes (6 vanilla + 6 chocolate). She told me she doesn’t usually do orders split in terms of flavors for a dozen cupcakes but had another order for the same day that would allow her to fulfill my order. She provided a beautiful creation of cupcakes after telling her the vision for the wedding/engagement dinner party. Everyone loved the cupcakes!! They were tasty + not too sweet. She even warned me about the black frosting + made a mixture to obtain the black color without the stain!! Unfortunately I don’t have pictures of the cupcakes she made for me but they looked just like the ones below. Thank you so much Amber! Would definitely recommend her to others!!
Thank you to The Cake Stand for a fun morning decorating winter themed cupcakes. Amber is fun and engaging with the kids. My daughter (6 yrs old) learned different decorating techniques with piping bags that were easy to follow. She perfectly portioned the amounts of buttercream for each child for various cupcake designs. The cupcakes and buttercream were also delicious. I’ve had the opportunity to try Amber’s cupcake decorating kits (just as tasty) before but this was our first time taking a class. I will definitely take an adult class and any mommy and me classes if offered. The class was held in the Inspired Kitchen show room which was nice and cozy. Consider supporting this woman owned small business located in Glastonbury for the holidays, future classes and your baking needs - you’ll be so happy that you did!
The cakes I ordered for my daughter’s first birthday were better than I could have imagined. Not only were they delicious but they were beautiful! I will definitely be ordering from her again.
My husband and I recently hosted a combined 50th birthday party and I wanted something special for our cake and Amber at The Cake Stand came through. She was fantastic to work with and the whole experience was so smooth start to finish. We couldn’t have been happier with how beautiful the cake came out and it was absolutely delicious!

I was so excited to try treats from this adorable new business, as the baked goods looked incredible in photos. It was so easy to place a Valentine's order online, except that everything on the menu sounded so good that I couldn't pick just one thing! A perfect excuse to try a variety of the offerings. Amber responded to my order submission quickly and confirmed my pickup, which was super easy. And oh. my. goodness.....The Cake Stand far exceeded my expectations. Can you say presentation gold medal? Everything looked perfect - from the baked goods themselves, to the packaging and details. And then the taste test... delicious! Cookies..cupcakes..everything yummy and perfectly made. If you are looking for quality and attention to detail, I highly recommend The Cake Stand!! I cannot recommend The Cake Stand enough! We ordered cupcakes and a Gabby's Dollhouse cake for my daughter's third birthday. Everything was beautiful and tasted amazing! Amber was so quick to respond and worked with me to create exactly what we needed. We had a great experience with The Cake Stand and would love to order treats from her again!
Amber made all of my dreams and visions come true for my daughter’s TWO sweet birthday party theme. Not only were her cake and cupcakes visually stunning, but they were some of the most delicious treats I’ve ever had. We had SO many compliments from our guests.
